This county is traditionally associated with the keeping and showing of several types of animals including ferrets, whippets and racing pidgeons. You people really need to get hold of a famous clip from the Yorkshire Television Station's Calendar program from about 20 years ago. This clip show our own Richard Whiteley, journalist, broadcaster and gameshow host as well as Mayor of the Town of Wetwang in the East Riding, being bitten on the index finger on live TV by a prize winning ferret. He manages to keep cool whilst the blood is flowing and after the owner managed to remove the ferret he said ' she was only playing with you, if she had meant it she would have been down to the bone.' You have a wonderfull clean site that I am going to show to my youngest son who loves amimals.
